National Will Safe
Established in 2004, National Will Safe has over 65,000 Wills and any other
relevant legal documents, such as Powers of Attorney, stored in its specialist
document archive facility in return for an annual fee, paid by direct debit.
While documents are with National Will Safe they are fully insured against
loss or damage. If anything happens to the documents, they will be recreated
and replaced, free of charge.
If any document stored by National Will Safe is lost or damaged at the time
it is needed, or its loss or damage only comes to light at the time it is
needed, then the business is insured for up to £2million per case to compensate
anyone who loses out or incurs costs as a result of there being no legally
binding document in existence.
National Will Safe provide plastic identity cards for its clients and their
Executors. The cards display the clients name, a unique storage reference
number and National Will Safe’s contact details. They also display the name and
contact details of the firm who arranged for the documents to be put into
storage.
Clients can request return of their documents at any time – free of charge.
The documents can either be returned to the firm who arranged for the documents
to be put into storage or directly to the client, using an insured delivery
service.
When Executors need to access the Will, all they need to do is provide
National Will Safe with a death certificate and proof of their identity.
National Will Safe Will send the Will to them (or to the firm who arranged for
the document to be put into storage) free of charge, using a secure, next day
delivery service.
The location of Will documents is be recorded free of charge on the
National Wills Register.
